Storage Tips for packing your Koowee Self Storage Unit
- Think ahead and make a plan
- Items that you will often need place to the front of the unit.
- Leave a small space around the perimeter of your storage unit to aid circulation.
- Look Up! Utilise all of the space available to you, including the height.
- Place the lighter boxes on top of the heavier boxes.
- Don’t over-pack cartons or they will be too hard to lift.
- If tables won’t disassemble, place a mat or protective plastic covers to protect against dust.
- Don’t place heavy or sharp objects on top of upholstered furniture.
- Never lay paintings or mirrors flat. Ensure they are wrapped.
- TO ENSURE SAFE STORAGE: Do not store anything COMBUSTIBLE (ie: paint thinner, solvents, paint, fuel etc.)
- Do not store any living things (including plants) or perishable goods (especially foodstuffs).
- Empty fuel from mowers, chainsaws, whipper snippers etc.,
- Ensure gas bottles are empty and BBQ or cooking surfaces are clean.

- 3M X 3M – Suitable for contents of a small home or two bedroom unit.
- 3M X 6M – Suitable for medium sized home contents, tradesman or small business.
- 6M X 6M – Suitable for contents of a four bedroom home, large archival record storage or commercial storage of tools, equipment or products, tradesman.
- Boat/Caravan Units – Suitable for boats and caravans – 10 metres deep – 4 metres wide (3.2 metres wide door opening) – 3.2 metres high
